Are you looking for a nice family outing with children, parents and even grandparents? Wouldn’t an experience off the beaten track with a zest of adventure and sensations, not be even better? And when the heat invades the plain here you will find a welcoming coolness. So the Lac Blanc Aventures leisure park in the Alsatian Vosges really has something to offer for an unforgettable day out.
In a pretty fir forest, at 1000 meters altitude …
At more than 1000 meters altitude, I knew the beautiful environment of Lac Blanc for a long time but until now I frequented it especially in winter, in snowy weather, to go snowshoeing or follow the sled dog races. But in summer, everything is green and nature is always beautiful.
To find your way to Lac Blanc Aventures, just follow the small signs. The path passes next to the Blancrupt Inn (auberge). This is the last possibility to park. Then we must walk for a short distance (250 meters). Take note of the hostel as it is an important rallying point for those who are starving after hiking. Emotion makes hungry, it is well known. The path then descends to arrive in a well hidden valley where adventures will begin!
Solidly harnessed and wearing multicolored helmets, the little ones and the smallest ones are bursting, there is no other word. I was only curious about what it was looking like but now I regret to have only sandals on the feet. To enjoy your day in comfort and safety, come in sneakers and not in flip flops, even in August!
I look at the harnesses a little closer … Will it hold my two-hundred pounds? “They are guaranteed up to 120 kilos!” they tell me.
They swear it, the equipment made available has been rigorously selected and represents what is currently the best: harnesses with snap hooks, helmets, special pulleys, etc. Next to the box office I look at an impressive collection of certificates with stamps and signatures. We come here to have emotions but we do not joke with security.
While having heard about this kind of amusement park, this is the first time I had the opportunity to be there “for real”. I am now convinced, it is a great idea to go out with friends or family to experience emotions, sensations and intense moments of pleasure.
I was surprised to see how, for the youngest, under the guidance of an adult, it was a school of empowerment and decision-making: identify a difficulty, think about how to overcome it while ensuring his safety. And take pleasure in it.
The nine courses of increasing difficulty will take you higher and higher towards the top of the pines … As it should be, the smallest (from 3 to 6 years old, of a minimum size of 0,90 m) will begin by the courses of the Pooh. Maximum safety thanks to a continuous lifeline without carabiner handling. The little ones will take their first steps in the trees under the gaze of parents.
Confirmed acrobats will be able to tackle the 14 workshops of the Lynx course, the most impressive and the most technical. Often at more than 10 meters high, with more and more crossings … how to say? It’s between Tarzan and James Bond. Shivers assured. So, it’s good for you?
